Mr. Bies is director of acquisitions of Champlin and has over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry.
Mr. Bies co-founded EN-RGY Concepts, where he has analyzed and supported project acquisitions, dispositions, and development opportunities for energy and real estate development opportunities. Mr. Bies has closed over $200 million in transactions and has significant expertise in detailed financial modeling, project management, project marketing financing, and contract negotiations. His experience in the energy industry includes PV solar, cogeneration, waste-to-energy, and microturbine technologies.

Before founding EN-RGY Concepts in 2012, Mr. Bies was an analyst at Genesis Renewable Energy, where he was proficient in analyzing utility rate tariffs, sizing PV systems and matching customer consumption with PV production.

Mr. Bies received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
